A guard is killed, and she, too, is shot and wounded by Jed who is getting away,
while she is sent to prison. When after some years she is getting remission for
good behavior, revenge is  all she can think of.

 

Joe Penny - as well as Eric Roberts - only has a sort of special guest appearance
